We formed this organization, number one to help the outstanding builders in the United States of America and Canada. I have been a hard working musician for over forty years now, and have performed all over the world. I am not a newcomer to the industry. I was a Gibson endorsed artist, representing that brand in Australia and in England. I have only been playing Cigar Box Guitars for the last ten years. They have become a big part of my shows and I am proud to say that I’ve helped a lot of CGB builders sell their instruments and make money. I get a lot more satisfaction working with smaller builders. Lately people have been questioning the fact that the CBG industry has seen many new builders and players, and feel that the CBG industry is getting over commercialized. I ask the question, what is wrong with musicians young and old wanting to play and buy instruments, and help the North American economy? It is time for us to work together and create more opportunities for musicians and builders to make money. We are open to suggestions and eager to hear your input. We want to make sure you know that we do not want to discriminate against any musicians or builders, no matter what level they are at. This organization is here to promote and help build a great community.
